Mini Games Galore
Not content with just being a tennis game, Tennis Arcade VR gives you a variety of mini games that are essentially other sports with a tennis twist. Fire your tennis balls at barrels, playing cards, a darts board, a football goal (complete with the goalie), or aim for nothing but net with the basketball game. You can choose from three areas—a stadium at night, a peaceful lake, and a metropolitan park. The ball physics are satisfying and respond well to your input, though they are more arcade (as the name suggests) than realistic. You can tackle the games alone or play with friends, as Tennis Arcade VR supports up to 6 player multiplayer. Graphically, Tennis Arcade VR strikes a nice balance between cartoon and realism.
A Great Game
Tennis Arcade VR plays well, looks great, and is a lot of fun. It does feel like you need to be playing with other people to get the best experience, however. It is relatively cheap when compared to other virtual reality games of a similar standard. If you like tennis—or fun—this game is worth picking up.
